What I want to know is: did they register the kid at Starvin’ Marvins, and how many giftcards did he get from the state store?

  2. That invitation wouldn’t shock many people up here in Northeast Wisconsin (sadly). There’s a whole lot of hillbilly up here too. I enjoyed your blog (I enjoy them all actually). Hope to see you next year at the Erma gig.

What I want to know is were the kids allowed to smoke Marlboros, or did they smoke those imitations?

I did notice there wasn’t much mention of what kinds of gifts to bring for the 1 year old, or did the poor child survive the party. haha

So funny – and scary, even though I know many who do the same.

@Heidi, when I moved to WI I was shocked to find my little village had more taverns than churches. Later I learned that some served pretty good Friday Night Fish Fry.

OK, so next year at age 2 and beginning to leave the diapers behind will it be a B.Y.O.P party? (bring your own pot)
