Tunnels on the roadway are frightening.

Scary in fact.

There are no tunnels where I drive on a daily basis. I thank God for this fact.

I live in Florida.

We tend to travel over things, not under them.

Florida is a state of sand, and water. No rocks to blast through to make tunnels. Just sand that caves in quite easily.

Wanda: I’m glad you don’t have tunnel vision…

They must be claustrophobic – hahaha You should watch some tunnel videos from Russia where they get icy. I’m not sure if they do slow down there. Maybe if they combined the brain power of Russian tunnel drivers with that of Mobile tunnel driver, they might end up being as smart as you (maybe) (probably not)

oh, yes! The tunnel in Mobile is horrid. I’m claustrophobic and I’d rather find another way.

I’m following you now. See you around the crusade.

We have three tunnel/bridges about an hour from here. I must admit that I get frightened driving through them, so do the slow down thing. So go ahead and blame me. I’m the predictable tunnel panicker.

I grew up in PA – so driving through tunnels was a norm. I actually thought it was the coolest part of any trip! Experiences definitely define us. 🙂

Nice to meet you! I’m hopping over from the crusade!

Totally love this post. However, now frightened because I am coming to Florida next month. Setting my vehicle on beware of idiot and bad driver alert. Hee Hee.

I had a nightmare about driving into a tunnel at night without brakes or lights. I’m pretty sure it was filled with bad things. Yep, still vivid in my mind. Creepy.
