    The only thing they are improving is their bank account. Friends will do the same thing and at no charge. Good topic well done.

    I agree with Jody. I have a huge stack of self-improvement books and cds. Some of them have had messages that prod me toward improvement. Most just bore me with their “me, the author” messages. I follow the Al-Anon philosophy – “Take what you like and leave the rest.”

    Wanda, Being one of those self-help people, I had to laugh! I HOPE that I don’t come off like that. I try to not be judgmental and recognize that each individual has the ability within them to solve any problem that they have. However, thank you, we all need to come down off our high horses and laugh at ourselves once in a while.

    BTW….I’m a health coach dealing in health issues and nutrition.
