Wade Rouse – Not The Boy Next Door (but he could be)

Do you like humor?

Do you like to read it?

Is it better if it’s true?

And well written?

Do you know Wade Rouse?

If you do? Great!

If you don’t, where the hell have you been?

If you know him, you probably know what I am about to say. If you don’t know him, well now’s your chance to get to know him.

His new book is being released today?

It’s All Relative – 3 dogs, 2 Families, 34 Holidays and 50 boxes of Wine, is Wade’s new book and it’s available today. Perfect timing I’d say for a book release by a guy who lives in the frigid state of Michigan. He probably can’t get out due to snow storms, lack of appropriate clothing, fear of falling and busting his arse on the steps of his home. That doesn’t mean you can’t get out and get the book. And you should.

You can guess by the title is has something to do with relatives. If you know Wade then you also know it will be hysterical, even more hysterical when you realize the stories are true. For those of use with similar families, reading this book makes us feel almost normal.

Wade is the author of three previous books. I can state as one who has read them that this man could be the new Erma Bombeck, if her weren’t a man. Details.

Run down to your nearest book store and get your own copy of It’s All Relative, read it, laugh, and relish in the fact that it’s not your family this time.

For those of you who wish you could write like Wade, here’s your chance. Wade is hosting A Three Day Retreat for Literary & Personal Renewal”May 12th-15th, 2011 in Saugatuck, Michigan. (Hopefully the frozen weather will be a thing of the past by May.) It is going to be one splendid time. About Wanda Argersinger

  1. Great review. This is going on my books to buy when I get bills paid list.

  2. I fell in love with him at the Erma Bombeck Writer’s Workshop. Can’t wait to read his new stuff. What a great fan you are!

  3. Never heard of the guy, but he sounds like fun. As for being stuck by the snow – he couldn’t possibly be more stuck than I am and the store is over a hundred miles away by snowmachine, not that I’d go anywhere at all today, not with a foot of new snow overnight. I’ll simply have to share the fun vicariously.
