Only 183 days to go and I have this feeling some of those days are not going to be so good.

  1. Love the cartoon! Humorous take on a scary subject. Had to laugh. I’ve only been in a Category One hurricane, but that’s enough. If you move north, you’ll just have to deal with tornados. At least we can track hurricanes.

  2. Loved this one! I’ll help you buy up Hershey if it’ll help. Mother Nature is one ticked off lady, and who can blame her?

  3. A PMSing Mother Nature – an awesome concept. I worry about you down there. Hurricane season can’t be fun to weather. Myself, I wouldn’t. Here in Alaska, it’s the season of spring cleaning. Currently it’s raining and wild-fires abound up around Fairbanks. Out with the old and in with the new – one way or another. You take care of yourself down there.

  4. You can always head for the desert Pine Trees and the house of a thousand kids if a hurricane heads your way. The rain goes above and below us but never on us. Course a hurricane might be preferable to a 6 yr old and and 9 yr old.

  5. I LOVE your personification of Mother Nature as having PMS and wanting to rid the world of mankind. And your Hershey, PA reference has me craving chocolate. Thanks for the laugh, Wanda. As a Southerner with a home on Tybee Island, GA, hurricane season is always unnerving at best.

  6. Maybe Mother Nature is just going through “The Change,” and she’ll be a better mood in a few years.

  7. “I believe Mother Nature and the earth are conspiring to upchuck all humans and somehow remove us from this planet.”
    Brilliant! My thoughts exactly.

  8. Hurricanes make me want to write poetry:

A little bird was lying dead
    amongst the swaying evergreens
I saw the ponderous murderous branch
Just before it landed on its friggin head

  9. Well, you could always move to Iowa. All we have is flooding from the Missouri, Mississippi, Cedar, Iowa, Wapsi. That’s the good months. The rest of the time it’s construction, snow, or ice.
